The steps for implementing an integrated design flow for a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) MCM design.

The miniaturization of consumer products, aerospace and defense systems, medical devices, and LED arrays has spawned the development of a technology known as a multi-chip module (MCM), which combines multiple integrated circuits (ICs ), semiconductor chips and other discrete components in a unifying substrate for use as a single component. This white paper describes the steps for implementing an integrated design flow in the Cadence® AWR Design Environment® platform circuit design software for a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) MCM design using an amplifier 2.5GHz gallium arsenide (GaAs) power (PA) with with a microwave laminated module to form the output match.
