Classification: ANU Officer 7 – 8 (Information Technology)
Salary package: $92,100 to $110,821 per year, plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-time, continuous (contingent funding), until the end of 2023.
Several roles available, with possibility of extension. Part-time hours will be considered.

ACCESS is a software suite that is at the heart of Australia’s remarkable climate and weather modeling capability. The research community has secured substantial support from the Australian government and universities to transform ACCESS into a well-managed, high-quality platform supporting Australian research, positioning Australia internationally in the global climate modeling community and time.
At the heart of ACCESS is a community of research software engineers with a range of skills, including high performance computing, climate and earth system model development, advanced visualization, model optimization, code repository management, machine learning, model evaluation and data science. This announcement is a broad call for applications for one of these roles, with up to 22 appointments to be made at the ANU Officer 7 and ANU Officer 8 levels, depending on the experience level of the candidates.
