The site will develop smart manufacturing software to help local and global customers on their digital transformation journeys.
Nearly a third of Rockwell Automation’s global software and controls manufacturing operations management workforce is now based in India.
The Pune SDC plans to hire more Indian talent and add people in roles such as product management, software architecture and engineering.
The SDC will give employees a chance to work in a stimulating product development space with an opportunity to share and learn from teams and customers around the world.

Rockwell Automation has expanded its presence in India in areas such as engineering, commerce, supply chain, and software and technology capabilities. It has more than doubled its workforce in India since 2015.
